Women & Girls

Women’s motivations and expectations are often different from men’s. It’s often about health and social motivations – fun, family, flexibility – and about fitting sport and fitness into busy lives. They want too the sort of high quality experience and customer service they enjoy in other environments. Supporting the increased participation of women and girls in sport means ensuring that your coaching workforce are trained and motivated to be able to support them. In getting these ingredients right there are huge opportunities at play, opportunities we can help you realise.

sports coach UK and the Womens Sport and Fitness Foundation work together to develop appropriate research around coaching women, as well as relevant and supportive guidance around how to support the development of women and girls as participants, players and athletes in your sport, at what ever level.
