Delivering workshops within your organisation

If you want to deliver UK Coaching workshops within your organisation:

  1. You need to have a formal tutoring qualification (e.g. 1st4sport Level 3 Certificate in Tutoring in Sport, Post Graduate Certificate of Education, Award in Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector or Certificate of Education).
  2. You need to have attended the relevant UK Coaching workshop you can find workshops to attend on the Workshop Finder.
  3. You need to work within an organisation that wants to become a Licensed Workshop Partner and that will book workshops for you to co-deliver and deliver on as part of the training sign off process. You will not be able to deliver workshops for any other organisation or generically for UK Coaching once accredited.
  4. You need to submit a Tutor Criteria Form for review. This allows you to demonstrate your skills, knowledge and experience and is submitted to a UK Coaching Trainer who will review your suitability to attend a Tutor Orientation.
  5. You will be invited to attend a Tutor Orientation event if the UK Coaching Trainer confirms you are a suitable candidate. This is a one-day training course delivered by Coachwise Learning to introduce you to the workshop materials, the delivery methodology and the learning outcomes. You must have previously attended the workshop. The fee for attending the orientation event includes the fees for sign off.
  6. Your organisation must then book workshops through the Workshop Booking Centre to enable you to co-deliver the workshop alongside a Lead Tutor. Opportunities will not be available outside of your organisation. The Lead Tutor will provide support and feedback. You may be required to co-deliver on more than one occasion before you progress to the next stage and your organisation should be aware of this.
  7. Your organisation must then book a workshop through the Workshop Booking Centre for you to be signed off. Opportunities will not be available outside of your organisation. You will deliver the workshop in full whilst being reviewed by the Lead Tutor. You may be required to deliver on more than one occasion before you progress to the next stage and your organisation should be aware of this.
  8. Your organisation must apply to become a Licensed Workshop Partner by signing and submitting the Licensed Workshop Partner Agreement and then adds you to their workforce as a workshop specific Licensed Workshop Partner Tutor.
  9. Your organisation then can book workshops through the Workshop Booking Centre, with you delivering the workshop for them. You will not be able to deliver workshops for any other organisation or generically for UK Coaching.
