WORKING AT UK COACHING
We are committed to providing an equitable, fair and supportive working environment for all staff.
We ensure that our policies are inclusive to the needs of all sectors of the population. All opportunities for employment and career progression will be offered irrespective of age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage and civil partnership, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion and belief, gender or sexual orientation (the nine protected characteristics specified in the Equality Act 2010).
In February 2017, our organisation was formally recognised in this area, being awarded the Intermediate Level of UK Sport’s Equality Standard: A Framework for Sport. We have also been awarded the right to use the disability ‘two ticks’ symbol, which shows we are positive about employing disabled people. No job applicant shall receive less favourable treatment for any reason which cannot be shown to be justifiable.
UK Coaching recognises the importance of good mental health in the workplace and is committed to supporting staff experiencing mental health issues. As part of this commitment, sports coach UK has signed the Charter for Employers who are Positive about Mental Health.
