Phoebe Schecter - Britain’s First Female NFL Coach

Phoebe talks about her coaching journey and what it means to be rewarded and recognised for her coaching by a sporting institution like the NFL

The American-British national, who is based in Manchester, came to the UK for work and started to play American football, rather ironically. Then from leading the British women’s American football team to the final of the 2015 European Championships, she was selected to coach at the Buffalo Bills through an NFL coaching internship. She is now an offensive coach at Bryant University – a division one NCAA school in Rhode Island.
