Register / Login to Access. Four infographics containing questions to guide the planning process when your coaches return to coaching, applicable to grassroots clubs, private coaching providers and charities

When your coaches return to coaching, do you have a plan in place to ensure that they are looked after and prepared to return? Whether you are a grassroots club, private coaching provider or a charity, you will need to be ready to support them to provide great coaching experiences in a safe environment.

In the first instance, have you thought about how you will look after your coaches, particularly in reference to their mental health and well-being? It might be worth opening an honest and frank discussion with them about how they’re feeling.

It would be a good idea to have strategies in place to support your coaches if they don’t feel comfortable enough to return.

To help you reflect, prioritise and take action, we have used our Workforce Principles to depict several of the pressing questions you may need to consider. Use them to guide your planning process so that when your coaches return to coaching, you can both move forward with confidence.
