Can Online Training Benefit Clients?

We work online, shop online, date online, so why shouldn’t we access our workouts online? Richard Jones weighs up the pros and cons of online training

With working days becoming longer and spare time increasingly precious, it’s no surprise that more and more people are turning to online and “virtual” personal trainers to shake up their fitness routines.

The obvious limitation to in-person training is location. If a client doesn’t live near their ideal fitness coach, they either have to travel to train, or compromise with someone who does live locally.

But with online plans and apps, clients don’t have to compromise. They can work with their ideal trainer without ever leaving the house!

This means that they can choose when to work out, fitting exercise around their schedule, rather than having to juggle both and somehow incorporate travelling time.
