Whether you’re a volunteer, coach for a few hours each week, or coach full-time, when starting in a new or additional coaching role, an effective onboarding process will ensure that you’re more likely to understand an organisation’s needs, develop good relationships, perform better, and be more motivated and engaged in your role.

Although a well-designed organisational onboarding process can support you in settling into the organisation and your role, this shouldn’t be a tick-box exercise or rushed through.
