"My name is Fanuel Chivasa. I am a 21-year-old Coach Core apprentice. Ever since I was young I have always had a burning passion for sports. I moved to the UK from Zimbabwe in 2010 at the age of 13 and was unable to speak any English.
"Because of the language barrier I was never confident in myself when it came to interacting with others and I always found myself isolated.
"I can truly say that my time as an apprentice at Coach Core has changed my life. It has given me a wide range of opportunities, from coaching, social networking and changing other people’s lives through sports.
"Therefore, I am truly grateful to have been part of such an incredible life-changing experience."
Fanuel coaches participants with a range of different needs, including mental health problems, physical disabilities and learning disabilities.
We asked him what success would look like to him in coaching terms?
"Success would be inspiring and motivating others to reach their goals in life and also being looked on as a role model by the next generation.
