In Talking Talent: Developing the What – Curriculum Building, Chris Low, Steve McKeown and David Piggott of Leeds Beckett University discuss using technical, tactical and psycho-motor theories and concepts as thinking tools to build your sport-specific performance model. In the video, Chris, Steve and David explain the mental models of performance depicted in the examples below. As such, when you’re watching, it would be a good idea to refer to each model they describe. 

Once you have watched the video, put your learning into practice by printing off the blank templates available beneath each example model and have a go at drafting up your own, applicable to your coaching practice, athletes and sport.
