Behaviour change is simply changing how people behave, altering the way they act, or react, to help them make better choices.
In daily life, there are many examples where we are encouraged to change our behaviours, including eating more fruit and vegetables, stopping smoking, driving within speed limits and being more physically active.
Helping people to become more active is part of a coach’s role, alongside helping people meet their goals and aspirations.
