Developing People’s Resilience in Your Session

We explain what resilience is and why it is important and provide some useful and effective resilience-building tips

A simple definition of resilience is that resilient people can ‘bounce back’ from difficulty or challenging experiences; they have the ability to bend and not break under pressure. 

In terms of coaching, this could mean that a resilient person can return to your session after time away, cope with not achieving a goal in the time required, keep going with a challenging activity in your session or adapt to new physical, mental or technical requirements in your sessions.
