Performance Pathway Coaching Programme
The Performance Pathway Coaching Programme will provide opportunities for individuals to develop themselves as a coach and leader, exploring and dealing with real life situations in real time, while connecting and collaborating with a network of coaches and coach developers.
The initiative is built on seven principles:
- Connection – Provide opportunities for coaches to connect, collaborate, and learn from other coaches within the context of the performance pathway.
- Clarity – Encourage coaches to identify their ambitions, desired path, and goals, through developmental conversations with their sport and coach developer.
- Confidence – Develop confidence in coaching identity and strengths within own coaching craft.
- Competence – Develop awareness of own leadership style and the impact on others, exploring how to lead and work in different environments.
- Consciousness – Build awareness of current challenges and opportunities within the coaching environment and strategies for influencing positive change.
- Compass – Explore coaching craft and the ethical decisions that coaches navigate within their performance pathway context.
- Context – Build clarity and develop expertise of coaching effectively within the coach’s context and environment.
