Duty to Care Digital Badge

UK Coaching Team

Earn our new and improved, nationally recognised Digital Badge as a testament to your understanding of and commitment to the principles of Duty to Care

Overview

The UK Coaching Duty to Care Digital Badge provides clear evidence of your steadfast commitment to the six pillars of Duty to Care.

Embedding those foundational pillars firmly into your coaching will give you a rock-solid springboard to not only provide great opportunities for the people you coach to participate and succeed in sport and physical activity, but also to offer them crucial support on their journeys.

To earn the Sport England-funded badge, you will need to pass the free Knowledge Checks connected to each pillar of learning. The Knowledge Checks will test your understanding of the key principles underpinning each pillar, ensuring that you have a clear grasp of all six.

The six pillars of Duty to Care are:

  • Diversity.
  • Inclusion.
  • Mental Health and Well-being.
  • Physical Well-being.
  • Safeguarding.
  • Safe to Practice.

Endorsed by CIMSPA, the badge – along with your certificate of completion – provides tangible evidence of your dedication to evolving your coaching and improving your practice. It also gives you three valuable CIMSPA CPD points, demonstrating that you have the knowledge you need to support everyone you coach.

Join the movement of coaches committed to creating a culture of care in sport and physical activity by earning your digital badge today.
