UK Coaching and NSPCC Sport launch strengthened safeguarding training

UK Coaching has launched a refreshed suite of Safeguarding and Protecting Children learning products, developed in partnership with NSPCC Sport, to help coaches, volunteers and organisations create safer sporting environments for children and young people.
Our updated Safeguarding and Protecting Children training includes learning solutions for individual coaches, welfare officers, young coaches and organisations across the sport and physical activity sector.
New content has been shaped using NSPCC safeguarding expertise and features new scenarios based on real disclosures received within sport and physical activity settings.
As the only safeguarding training of its kind developed alongside NSPCC Sport, the products are designed to give learners the confidence to recognise concerns, respond appropriately, and put children and young people at the heart of their practice.

- Safeguarding and Protecting Children for Young Coaches
- Safeguarding and Protecting Children for Young Volunteers (for organisations only)
Organisations can access the updated learning through flexible delivery options.
These include eLearning, UK Coaching-facilitated workshops, and licensed delivery through an organisation's own tutor workforce.
