UK Coaching secures bid to lead workshop delivery for Buddle

UK Coaching expands it's support for community clubs and organisations by becoming part of the Buddle team.
UK Coaching has secured a three-year contract to deliver the workshop arm for Buddle, Sport England’s National Lottery-funded programme that provides free resources, guidance, and training to volunteers and professionals supporting community sport and physical activity.
Starting in June 2025, UK Coaching, as part of the Buddle team, will lead a series of expert-led workshops covering key topics such as inclusion, community engagement, financial management, and marketing strategy. By joining Buddle’s established team delivering on Buddle - Continuum Sport & Leisure and Substance - UK Coaching will help clubs and volunteers create welcoming, well-run, and sustainable organisations.

The Buddle programme closely aligns with UK Coaching’s Strategic Intent, which focuses on tackling inequalities, building a more representative coaching workforce, recognising and celebrating the impact of coaches, and delivering high-quality learning and development opportunities. These priorities directly support Sport England’s Uniting the Movement strategy—a 10-year vision to transform lives and communities through sport and physical activity.
