Parents of young athletes often have the responsibility of keeping everyone fed, a task that becomes increasingly difficult when considering a hectic schedule. Our tips for good nutrition, developed in partnership with Sarah Chantler (Registered Dietician), include empowering children and young people to do some of the prep themselves

Parents often bear the responsibility of taking care of groceries, shopping lists, meal provision, cooking and being the provider of snacks after training to their active children. But many parents don’t know how to ensure that the young and growing athletes in their houses are getting ‘enough’ of the things they need, especially when everyone is very busy. 

Being busy and short on time are the most common reasons provided for why our nutrition doesn’t go as planned.
